I am obsessed with the look of aged photos, especially from a vintage polaroid, much like the photo above. Well, my sister informed me that her new iPhone has an app - Shake It Photo - that can turn any image into a vintage-looking polaroid. How cool! I emailed her a bunch of my favorite photos yesterday, and within a few minutes, voila! I have my own collection of vintage polaroids.

ShakeItPhoto is definitely one of my go-to apps. I used it to make a Polaroid collage of my five-month old nephew, and I think it turned out pretty cute.

oohh thanks for the tip - i have been wondering how you do this for a while! I had dental surgery yesterday so have been lying in bed all morning making all the pics on my phone into polaroids! lol...im sooo bored!

Try Poladroid, it's a free download and you can do it on your own computer, rather than needing your sister to do it from her phone. I love it. That's how I did my profile photo.
