Happy Friday, everyone! I am switching up Fashion vs. Furnishings today as I have this tiny dilemma on my mind. At the end of the next week, I leave for a week of fabulosity in New York City. You may have heard of a certain magazine launching on Thursday, so the Rue gals are heading to NYC for a non-stop whirlwind of dinner parties, issue two photo shoots, editorial meetings, and, oh - our very own launch party! (Still waiting to wake up from this dream.)
The question that's on everyone's minds is what to wear?! What to wear?!?! Because NYC is so insanely expensive, I can't go all-out and splurge on a new ensemble from head to toe. So the question is: New dress or new shoes? Help!

I would normally vote for shoes since you will likely get more use out of them, but I feel like you have to go for the dress. Paired with the Louboutins, it will be fabulous.

the shoes! They are more fall. The dress is very cute, but feels very summer to me. Plus, we've seen you in a fab yellow dress already!
Dress.
Both are so pretty, and would actually look great together! I think it depends on what role you want your outfit to play. The Halston dress is more of a show stopper, whereas the black dress with the Kate Spade shoes is more sophisticated and timeless. I would go with the shoes because I think you will get more wears out of them. You probably couldn't get away with wearing the dress more than a handful of times.

The shoes are a functional fashion piece that can be paired with many other outfits for seasons to come. And they sparkle.
I say go with that dress and a pair of nude heels! Love it!

Ok...so I do like the dress, but since it is fall, and the dress is neon, I am going to say go with the shoes. Rumor has it Neon is on its way out, I know...I am sad about it too, so get the shoes!

That dress is AMAZING...but I think it may be too summery for this time of year. The shoes and a black dress may be more appropriate for the season. You can't go wrong either way, though! HAVE FUN!
Definitely shoes! they can spice up an LBD! I'm a big fan of splurging on the accessories and keeping the clothes simple.
